A chatbot doesn't know my workbook.
This one read it before you spoke. The pane opens on the active sheet and on the range in front of you, with its columns, its values and its empty cells. You have nothing to describe to it before you ask for something.
An AI writing on its own into a production workbook, absolutely not.
You are the one who allows it. The shield in the input bar sets what the assistant is allowed to do. "Ask each time", the default, has it propose every write before making it; "Automatic", the setting used here, lets it write, and the ribbon's Undo button reverses everything. It writes formulas rather than pasted values, so the column stays live.
I can't write VBA, nor review the VBA someone writes for me.
You don't have to review it. In Developer mode, the assistant opens Module1 and writes the macro. Every line acts in front of you: the rules are drawn, the header turns green and the amounts take their unit. What you approve is the result, without having to go into the code.
